SEKOU ODINGA IS TRANSFERRED TO NEW YORK
Sekou Odinga is currently in NY, he maxed out on his federal time (28 years). Sekou was transferred to Shawangunk Correctional Facility on 7/23/2009 to begin serving his state time (another life sentence). According to NYS Department of Corrections Sekou is not eligible for parole eligibility until 8/22/2033. We are trying to rally support for him as he feels that there is a valid legal challenge that exists. Currently there is a small team of people working with the defense committee to educate the public about Sekous fight, and make Sekou Odinga a household name.
